Seafood is always my first choice because I enjoy eating it. Besides, this is supposed to be an expensive food. If I have more seafood, then the buffet cost will be worthy. Besides, I also like steaks.

If i am in a Filipino buffet and there is the star of the buffet table , the lechon (whole roasted pig) , i would surely get from it first . Then i would get shrimp tempura if there is any . Then the salads and desserts .

I always like to take the western food first, perhaps ham, bun and salad, though it may not be worth the price of the buffet. I am not so fond of seafood, except mussel and scallop. I enjoy eating buffet, though I don't eat much, I like to try a bit of everything and have a nice time with friends or family.

@youless Nope, that's because I don't like to eat seafood. I am glad my husband doesn't like seafood as well, hence I rarely cook any seafood at home and don't really need to learn how to cook seafood. I only steam or fry fish fillets sometimes, especially for my children.

When going to a buffet I prefer either Prime Rib or Shrimp which is delicious. I do not care for steak that much.

I like most food. So I try to eat a little bit of everything they have on the buffet table. I won't get big portion of anything so that I won't be too full before I get to the dessert.

@youless Do you mean the fondue and the raclette? This is not something you can offer at a buffet, it must be served hot at your table in a special heated pot.

I am a fan of binge eating at buffet. I prefer Asian cuisine because the food is less fat and not as greasy feeling of western food ( I mean i cannot eat a lot of food with cheese and creamy salty stuff, makes the throat so full and greasy). I prefer Japanese food such as sashimi, all kind of sushi, all kind of tempura and their noodles. I like Japanese for soup, kimchi, and fried stuff. I like Thai food all spiciness is there. I like seafood and veggies stuff in whatever the way they make it. I dont feel easily full and no regret since I will not gain weight so much on those healthy high protein stuff. Some people think its another way around but I tell you seafood has more High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) which is important to carry bad cholesterol (LDL) into the liver. So youve got more cholesterol being cleaned from bloodstream. Then you will be healthy.

We have a very good restaurant here in my place where you get an excellent Sunday buffet which has a wide variety of Sea food, different kind of starters , soups, salads and desserts ...One has to be a real good eater to do justice to the amazing variety of food served there.

I try to pick expensive foods when I go to buffets to make the price worth it! But, I don't visit buffets often because I'm a picky eater and would rather eat at a restaurant I'd enjoy the food.

There is no longer good buffet here friend. It used to be called China Buffet run by genuine Chinese people. My favorite was the General Tso or sesame chicken.

I would love to taste those dishes that I haven't tasted yet. Like those foods that we don't usually cook at home. If there are international cuisines, I would love to try them. I also love seafoods but I am allergic to it. I still taste it sometimes like prawns and crabs, but I have to be prepared with the consequences.

I like seafood too. if I go to an expensive buffet, I will go raw oysters. I think that is about the only thing worth if you know how to enjoy fresh and raw oysters. if they have lobsters and Wagu beef from Japan, that will be even better.
