What will be the effect of Paris terror attack?

I believe European countries have been very tolerant to Islam unlike America. For example London and Paris are such places. So after this attack will Europe follow the path of America or will they stay as tolerant and supporting as before?

We have about 6 millions Muslims in France, it is about 10% of our population. The problem is not with all Muslims but with a few thousands salafists/wahabbists, and the situation becomes very harsh for them actually : since the last Paris attacks they are reported to the police by other Muslims, sometimes by their own families. It looks like they have exceeded the tolerance limit inside their own community which thinks now that they represent a danger for Islam in France.

Where were you the day the attack took place? The general side effect is people are filled with resent and would like to let go it on something. So Muslims will be the target.

@mkrnex It would have already happened. People are working with Muslims, have Muslim neighbors... and they know that these ones are not responsible for these attacks. But it is true that Muslims are more controlled by the police today than before, and they have a real interest to help the authorities to prevent future attacks. The solution will probably come from Muslims themselves.

@topffer Yes,I have been hearing that Paris attack has resulted in more attacks on Muslims in USA. Between in France do the Muslim have separate law or are you people following uniform civil code? For eg in India Hindu can't practice polygamy while a Muslim can.
