What's worse?

I was sick yesterday. I mean, really sick. I was throwing up sick. So, since yesterday morning I have 3 ginger ales. 2 cups of broth. 3 cups of hot tea. About 4 saltines and a croissant. I was kind of worried about the croissant, but it was actually better than the saltines. It was also about 8 hours later. But what is the worse part of being sick. Its not being able to take my medicine! My head hurts, my body hurts and I'm afraid to take pills because I know that even at the BEST of times, taking them on an empty stomach means more throwing up! And once I start throwing up, well, I need medicine to stop, and that isn't going down the throat, if ya know what I mean...

I am feeling better than yesterday, I didn't feel totally awful, but I wasn't going to chance food because I really hate throwing up.

What is that you ate too much that made you sick?

I don't know, that's just it. The roomie and I ate the same thing, except I had homemade salad dressing.

@gudheart if you check under @sallypup 's response you will see what the dressing was.

I'm sorry. It almost sounds like food poisoning. I'm glad you are getting better.

@sallypup - that was just it. Except that I made a homemade salad dressing, the roomie and I ate the same thing. Maybe its time to throw out the lemon juice?

@ElicBxn Your comment worries me. I make home mayo often- using home eggs. The lemon juice I use is stored in the fridge but it is often weeks and even over a month old. You put an egg in your salad dressing?

@ElicBxn @sallypup But lemon juice is really unlikely to go bad because of the high about of citric acid in it. It might taste nasty but it's not going to give you pathogens. More likely a contaminated surface got the vegetables.
