It is above freezing

I know this because the icecicles have turned to dripping water.
It does not look good outside at all. Gray and gloomy, but the cat wanted out and has gone outdoors. I do not know just where she is. We are warm inside.
Hubby slept in, and I am disappointed not to have made it to church.
He wants to shop out of town later, meanwhile, I have turkey in the crockpot. I froze some last week when we cooked one.
I will make some side dishes and we will have a warm lunch.
If you are in the US you will be seeing the post Thanksgiving shopping and such. Tomorrow turns into a "normal" day.
I guess I will look for some Christmas decor to put up. It is time.
I have company coming in two weeks. It may get busy and crazy.
Are you beginning to prepare for Christams?

To me it's cold here, but I know it will never get to the point of freezing here. We bought Christmas lights for the house yesterday - and today Hubby put them up! But I don't think we'll do any serious decor until maybe next weekend. Oh, but I have a feeling the holiday is going to creep up on us - like super fast!!!!

Yes, we are preparing for Christmas. This afternoon my husband and I were going to put the outdoor lights up on the house, but he is taking a nap, so I'm not so sure that will happen. I am hoping that we will get the tree up next weekend. I am concentrating on finishing the shopping this week.

I´m wrapping some presents for my youngest granddaughter and made some envelopes with reclcled Christmas paper where I will put some dollars for my 2 grandsonswho are living in Europe.
Next week I will probably buy some fruits and berries to prepare presents for my daughters. I usually cook some apricot jam, but this year the apricot tree will not yield much as it was pruned.

It is a busy time of year for us as well. I have done a bit of shopping but not very much. I also hope to get some decorating done this week for the holiday.

While other people in the world are perspiring, you are above freezing. But anyway perspiring or freezing, Christmas preparation can't be hindered. I've been busy decorating my house for this special time of the year.

it's hovered mostly above freezing here, though it did drop enough to form some ice during the night. thankfully, when driving last night at 11pm, it was still around 35-36

@GardenGerty I am trying to prepare for Christmas. The tree is half decorated and the boxes of Christmas stuff is scattered around the living room. I wonder if I will ever be finished.
