Santas Grotto.

Today we took our 2 Sons to see Santa and we had a lovely day. Santas Grotto was set up in a little room where you and your Family got to spend some time with Santa. The room was lovely, it was decorated really Christmassy with shelves of all different toys, for children it really did look believable. Santa was also very good, he was really good with the children and very patient with them, my eldest came over a bit shy but he spoke to him and asked about him and they both got to pose with Santa for pictures. My youngest who is 5 months had no idea what was going on but loved it he smiled the whole time and kept blowing raspberries at Santa. What I really like was the fact that when it came to them both getting a present Santa chose them something from the shelves of toys around the room and took time to choose something suitable. So much different to when I was a child and there was a sack for boys and a sack for girls and everyone got the same. My eldest got a fire engine complete with fire station which he loved as he loves anything with wheels, and my youngest got a ball made up of different fabrics with a rattle inside and different animals around it. All in all it was a lovely day and we all enjoyed it.
