Lost My Mom Yesterday

Canada
November 30, 2015 3:13am CST
I'm not expecting to here much over the next week. I expect my two sisters and niece won't spend much time here either. Yesterday morning my mother passed away. She was eighty-nine. We have a lot of running around to do and I don't think any of us feel very talkative right now. Will be back as always.

Nobody is ever old enough and grown-up enough to deal with losing their mum.

Can't argue with that. Little boy in me was not ready at all.

She will be missed. I am glad that you were able to make it out, and this time I actually got to talk with you! Hopefully there won't be a need for another trip of the sort, at least for the very near future.

I was glad to be able to visit with the family. Got home safely yesterday but it snowed pretty heavily while I was gone. Leaves me with a lot of work to deal with now that I'm back. Mom will be missed terribly especially by dad. We'll see how he handles it over the next few weeks.

We have lots of wonderful memories. I was grateful to be able to download a memory stick full of family photos and documents on the same visit home that contains. The amount of material there is mind boggling.
