i am facing quite a tough time in my profession ...my age is 22..and i am currently working for a software/IT company but the truth is that that i am not at all happy with my job and want to switch over to something i like, but when it comes down to jotting down things i like , i certainly feel that i wouldn't be able to make the things in my list as a profession ever in my country at least . kindly help me find the right path of working with satisfaction.

At times we end up working what we do not like. But at the age of 22, you already have a job, means you are financially independent. Rather than jotting down what you like, jot down the points or challenges you are facing at work, which is making you unhappy, how to make things right for you. May be you can just discuss over with your boss/ colleague or a friend and they can help you in a positive way to fight the issues. Switching a job is not a solution for everything as what if you face same situations in the new job? So cheer up, focus on smart moves of the industry, read - as many new developments are around in all the industries, look for options which is of your interest..

The process of elimination works too, jot down what you definitely don't want to do, and avoid those first. Then make a list of what you won't mind doing for $$$. From two lists, you should get an idea what you'd prefer to do that pays!
