It's So Quiet.

This afternoon my eldest Son asked if he could stay at my Parents house and play with Nanny and Gaga (his name for my Dad) so me and my youngest Son have come home and left him there and they are bringing him home later. My youngest who is 5 months has now fallen asleep so it's just me and the cat. The house always seems so quiet without my eldest Son around. He's quite a loud little boy and is always chattering away so when he's not here it's very quiet around our house. It won't be long until he comes bouncing back through the door so I really should be tidying up but thought I would have just 5 minutes on here.

Enjoy the quiet time while you can as it usually doesn't last that long.

@k270585 It always does return. But if you are like me when my kids were young, you wouldn't have it any other way.

Our house always seems quiet when the little men (our grandsons) are not here.

Enjoy the quiet time that you have and when your son comes back do something fun with him. Children are so great.

I had a tired little man returned to me at tea time but he watched tv and played trains for a while.
