Strokes

Strokes are a serious issue. If you feel you are having a stroke please BEWARE call an emergency unit as soon as possible, get help quickly. I failed to do so and within a day I had two strokes. I have been in rehab now for two months. Though I am getting better life would have been better had I done what I needed at first thought.

The hardest part must be accepting the fact that you are experiencing the symptoms of a stroke. Many people think they are too healthy to have a stroke and therefore ignore the warning signs. We just had a guest speaker at work talk to us about all the warning signs of stroke! Anyway, I hope your rehab is going well!

We all need to be more proactive, but it is easy to dismiss symptoms. We just do not want to believe it is happening to us.
