What are your personal limits? How much are you willing to take?

As I've become old I've noticed that my limits have changed-more or less because I've learnt that if people are allowed to, they will continue to walk over a person, even if 'promised' otherwise.
What are your limits for friends, family, work or dare I even ask, your religion?
What would cause you to stop believing?
Is there a rational line?
Or it is just a matter of having had "enough" based on the individual experience of the person/s/work/religous/organizations in question?
Limits are not bad things, they help protect us.

I agree that Limits are not a bad thing!!
As far as religion goes, I don't bind myself into a religion , and I don't believe in god!! But I never question anyone's faith or their devotion, but if someone tries to change my mind or questions my beliefs then I don't hold back and that is my limit or threshold on religion!!
About other things, I always create an atmosphere where anyone can be open and can share or tell or ask anything they may want to!! I never keep anything to my heart!! If I am wrong, I will accept it gladly and will not argue about it, but if I am right, I will try to convey the same to the person in front of me!! It is up to them, if they want to listen or not!!
Yes, People will walk all over you if you give even a slightest of opening to them!! It is a common trait in us humans!!
For me, it has happened that when someone does wrong to me, only then I realize that the person was not trustworthy!! Maybe someday down the line I will stop trusting everyone blindly but till then I am as I am!!

The older I have gotten, the more moody I have become, so I guess my limit is easily reached, and I do not take much, I get annoyed too quickly, but, people also know not to push me. I am not mean, but I am firm in many things.

Yes well, that is probably why I find you interesting, haha. I'm not moody, I wouldn't say...but I get annoyed and tend to write ppl off kinda fast now. Like, my limits are more defined now.

@HebrewGreekStudies , hehe, why thank you for finding me interesting :-). I find you interesting because you have a different way of looking at certain things...and of course dog and turtle :-D. Good you have figured out your limits.

I did reject religion, twice - abandoning Catholicism as soon as I heard of atheism, so little limitation there but my return to disbelief after seduction into a Hindu meditation cult was more difficult though more down initially to intolerant attitudes by the sect's senior members than the beliefs themselves. That was a slow and painful rational process and actually very hard to see the exact point at which I fully shook off their teachings. It was not an instant overnight decision.

All my heart is yours, sir: it belongs to you; and with you it would remain, were fate to exile the rest of me from your presence forever.
