morning laziness

Generally I used to wake up at 0600 hrs and I always took 15 to 20 minutes to get off my bed. I think it's my laziness, but today due to some work compulsion I had to get up at 0400 hrs in the morning and by 0430 hrs I was out of my home. The point is that why it takes me 15 to 20 minutes to get off my bed on normal days, and how I was out of my home in just 30 minutes today. Have anyone also have faced such situation. For me I think it's, how much importance I give to the job in hand during morning. What you guys?

@ajoywork33,I think we all feel lazy immediately after getting up in the morning. When you need to get up too early, your mind gets your mind prepared to rise to the occasion.I have experienced it many times.

you are right but for a healthy life one should follow 'early to bed early to rise' formula, is'nt it?

@ajoywork33 Exactly. You should make it a habit to go to bed early and get up early in the morning.I have to go to my workplace at 9.30 a.m.,but I get up at 5a.m.It has now become my habit.

I am not an early riser because I sleep late ...But once I wake up automatically at 7am, I am able to get out of the bed in 2 minutes and carry on with my routine. If for some reason I have to wake up early , I am able to do so within minutes once I am awake ..

@ajoywork33 I have a busy schedule most days so that is motivation enough for me to wake up and hurry through my morning

With the timepiece our mind is also set to that --- no problem there 10, 20 minutes are there. And in case of emergency - our mind reacts quickly.

This happens to me a lot but I don't have a job right now so I am not scheduled to get up to do anything important at the moment. But if I do need to get up, it usually takes me a bit to get up. Not because I am lazy but because I don't sleep well and I'm tired a lot. That and my motivation is extremely low.

@ajoywork33 I don't sleep very well so I'm tired a lot and since I have depression, I'm just often very tired.
