Good luck on your interview. Be sure to be able to tell some way that you have made improvements for the company in your current position. The more specific examples the better. Also, don't be afraid to admit your interest in the job has to do with seeking growth for yourself. I used to think that people too often tried to convince me of their perfect fit for one of my jobs and I wondered if they would get bored right away. Be yourself!

This sounds like some great advice. I never thought about how in trying to promote yourself with an interviewer, you might come across as someone who could get bored with the job. It will probably be easier to be myself because I already know one of the interviewers.

@makingpots The Interview went fine or so I thought. They needed someone with more technical experience and my boss promised to get me some training. Kinda bummed but I will concentrate on the training.
