Marcus is a young man. He wanted to have a job. He came from the mountainous region of Albay. Before he go to the city of Legaspi, he needs to cross a hanging bridge. From his place to the next mountain. While he was on the other edge of the mountain, seeing the very deep ravine, he felt scared. For hours he was there contemplating how to walk on the vine bridge that connects his mountain to the next mountain. He remember his Father's story about an old woman from his place. She wanted to visit her daughter in the city. Three people accompanied her so that she can cross the hanging bridge. He laughed at himself thinking if there were three men accompanied him crossing the vine bridge. " Am I an old woman? " He laughed himself. They crossed the bridge and now she was living in the city. He must not be scared of the vine bridge because many people passed this way and were living happily. This bridge helped many people to reach their dreams in the city. This is not a hindrance but help to everyone that crossed. The bridge is like a problem to us. Sometimes, we question God the reason it was given to us. Sometimes we became depressed. But do you know that problems is a help for us to grow mature in life so that big problems or trials may come we can solve and face them by ourselves? It make us stronger and mature in dealing life. It's not a hindrance but mold me of a kind of person who can face any trials in the journey of life. Life is not life if there is no problem. Problems make us stronger and mold us to be a better individual. If we have one now, have a courage to find the solution. Lift it to God and the Holy Spirit will guide you on what to do, just like Marcus, after thinking and recalling events, he eventually crossed the bridge and triumphantly he made his way to the great City of Legaspi and work hard to help his family.

Trials can help us grow. We simply have to look at it that way because if we don't then we can settle in with depression. life is filled with troubles but we're capable of getting through them.
