Let the fun commence! Also, do feel free to expand upon your answers, if you wish to feel free to talk about your reasoning or talk about good memories listening to these bands.. them getting you through tough times, maybe.. or seeing them in concert, anything along those lines :) My current top 3, I would say, are: Modest Mouse, Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro. I have so many darn reasons haha. It was so hard for me to choose as well! Back in the day I would have chose: Our Lady Peace, Incubus, and Nirvana! For the heck of it, I am gonna choose my top 10 bands right now too! (feel free to choose your top 10 if you would like as well): Incubus, Our Lady Peace, Nirvana, Modest Mouse, Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Primus, Deftones, Chevelle, At The Drive-In

Favorite lists are always difficult for me, especially when it comes to music! What interests me in music changes with the events of the day, my mood and even the weather. I'm a big fan of Bob Dylan for so many reasons, but mostly his writing. Also really enjoy Van Morrison, his music mellows me. Rod Stewart and Elton John both deserve a spot on a favorites list, I really like the way their music has held up across time and eras. Sometimes I feel the need to revisit my 80s high school days and Bon Jovi hits the spot. "Living on a Prayer" sung at the top of my lungs while playing air guitar will lift my spirits in no time at all. I have seen all of the above mentioned in concert except for Van Morrison. But then I have my Bluesy moments when BB King or some Victor Wotten beats are required. Miles Davis and Thelonious Monk give me good vibes at times. But then there are days I feel the need to 'get the Led out' and could listen to Led Zepplin for hours on end. More currently I enjoy Ed Sheeran and Adele quite a lot. This really only scratches the surface for me. Musical favorite lists are too challenging for me to create.

Yes, weather very definitely affects my musical tastes, especially rainy days.

Very very on point, accurate, and just generally CORRECT (dont really know what words to use, haha) portrayal of your favourite bands and how you put that together. That was really well worded and a nice read! But yes, I am on a music forum or two.. But the particular one I go on a lot.. There are many people who also claim that their music tastes change with weather, mood, and things like that. For myself, mood is definitely one of them.. Not sure if weather is so much one for me or not! Nonetheless, thank you for your input!

My all time favorite is KISS. So, they top my list. I would add Queen to that list as well as Motley Crue. But I have many favorite bands. My list would be extremely long.

Good list! I know what you mean though, it was hard for me to just pick three!! That is why, later on, I decided to also choose 10.. Just for "the heck of it" haha ;p

@mawdest Thanks. There are so many rock bands and other artists that I really like. I do like a variety of different music. So, my music library is extremely big.

@inertia4 Not a problem! Same here, so much variety in my music list as well! I think its good to keep an open mind when it comes to music.. But hey, if you aren't like that, then that is fine as well.. To each, their own! :) My music library is decent sized I suppose... However.. About 2 years ago, my iTunes crashed and I lost all my songs. Ever since then, I now only have about 2000 songs on my iTunes but I am more in to using music streaming sites online anyways, so its not a huge deal!

1. Jim Reeves 2. Louvin Brothers 3. Rose Maddox And you've probably never heard of any of the three of them, have you? They're all country singers, long gone, but all with a legacy of music that has touched me like nothing else.

Heh, unfortunately.. No! I have not heard of a single one of those country singers! :( But that is also probably why, I am not greatly in to country, whether it be extremely famous country people/bands or not. Thanks for sharing though, much appreciated! :)

Well I went to a concert last year with Linkin Park, 30 Seconds to Mars, and AFI so it was pretty much the perfect concert to me since it had all of my most favorite bands.

Oh wow, that's awesome! I love Linkin Park, though truthfully, have not really been such a fan of their newer/latest releases of music.. Actually not really since like going on them putting out music for 8/10 or so years now. But older Linkin Park was great! 30 Seconds to Mars I dont mind, and AFI is pretty awesome! :) Anyways, sounds like that would have been a good concert, glad you had a great time!
