The HubPages Discussion Thread

I would imagine there are a lot of Hubbers here at myLot. MyLot is mentioned several times in the HubPages forums. So why not talk about HubPages here and get paid for it, as opposed to talking on the HP forums and getting paid nothing?
HubPages and myLot are non-competing websites, each has completely different HubPages-hub-versus-myLot-discussion posting criteria; as an example, HubPages pretty much rejects anything and everything that doesn’t have over a 1000 words and at least three images. So hopefully myLot will be fine with this ongoing, never-ending, income-producing discussion. Don’t forget to “Like” those responses you agree with.
So what are your thoughts and opinions about HubPages?
What do you think of QAP? Unfeaturing?
What do you think of their “new” policy of including no-sharing-revenue-with-writers ads on Hubs using straight AdSense?
What do you think of their reverse subdomain move?
What do you think the latest Panda update will do to them?
Will their traffic continue to crash and burn?
Will you be removing Hubs?
Does HubPages have a future? Will they still be around in five years?
Anything and everything about HubPages is open for discussion, both positive and negative. And let the multiple topics wander where they will. Personally, I’m fond of HubPages. I’ve been earning money from them for years. Unfortunately, each year it is less and less. And while we are at it, relevant fun rants can also have a place here. And for that matter, one certainly doesn’t have to be an HP member to join this discussion.
What say you?
[Update, 12/03/2015] I am currently experiencing a HubPro Premium massive editing of one of my hubs. We will see how it goes.

These days they are really big on full-blown, magazine-style articles with lots of pictures. It's getting harder and harder to post articles there they will fully accept and allow to be indexed in the search engines.

@websitewithnoname I've not tried anything new for a few years, if and when I do get something new going there, if I'm successful I can let you know. I thought there was always a lot to remember and that's why I never did more articles than I did.

I joined HubPages and tried it out. It wasn't for me. I like MyLot as I did like Bubblews and also like Persona Paper. But all in all, I find MyLot to be the best site. I find this format to be comfortable with me. Not the other site at all.
