I know this is a very sensitive subject and there are different beliefs about Christmas and it is a very popular celebration in this present world.
The truth is there are many wrongs and few rights about Christmas. I am not here to rain on your parade even if I don't like the parade because it is riddled with lies.
So tell us what is right and what is wrong with Christmas? What is good and what is bad about Christmas?

Added on December 6, 2015: The word Christmas does not appear in the Bible. The date of Christ's birth in not found in the Bible. Christmas was not celebrated by the early Christians; it was first celebrated in 336 AD, that is over 300 years after Jesus died.

I stopped celebrating Christmas - it took some time to leave it, but as I understood that the celebration is full of paganism and it would not please God, I left it.
We can have fun with family and friends any time of the year and eat good food and give gifts when we can afford it, without emptying our wallet..

@totobasso It feels great to not celebrate it. I used to get really stressed out about it.

Great! More and more people are realizing that what God wants us to do and what the world wants us to do or two different things. The Bible even tells us that if we want to be friends with the world then we become enemies of God. ( James 4:4 )

I'll skip the junkie candies, thank you! I used to celebrate Christmas but I would never touch it again once I realized what it is. Like I said, I am not here to rain on your parade. It's no longer for me. I saw a lot of bickering, dissatisfaction, hypocrisy, cheating, fights and lot of things that made me sick. The bad outweighs the good in my book.

The overcommercialization of it bothers me, but I like the idea of having a few days where people are supposed to be nice to each other. I don't like the somewhat forced nature of it though. Honestly, I am a lot more removed from it because it's not my holiday.

Well some people are nice to each other and some are not so nice as we see all the things that go on.

It is all what YOU make it. You have a highly commercialized holiday or a home made one. It is up to you. I like an old fashioned one with some commercialization.

It's pagan and not Biblical. God never said to celebrate it. Jesus didn't celebrate it, it's not even His birthday.
It's stressful and commercialized. Every day should be xmas. We should give every day all year long.

I agree, what ever is good about Christmas is what we should be doing all year.

Yes! Absolutely! I've done such a good job of ignoring it this year that I missed that, but you have a great point.

To me, the best about Christmas is having our kids come home, having lots of good food, and most of all, celebrating the birthday of our Savior Jesus.

I think the #1 problem with Christmas is GREED! It seems too often that it is all about the gifts and not about the true meaning of it (not as if I care because religion is not my forte) and just spending time with your loved ones

Interestingly, the early Christians never celebrated Jesus' birth but there was already a very similar holiday on December 25th celebrated by non-Christians.

Wrong with Christmas : It's not being celebrated on some Religions
Right with Christmas : It's full of happiness especially when you have your family by your side.

Why don't we have the family by our side many times during the year?

What is good about Christmas is that I can celebrate it with my family, and I also celebrate the birth of Christ. The bad thing about Christmas is that it is to commercialized, and that iut is in the winter where there is cold and snow.
