Writing sites helping in Mylot responses and discussions? / myLot

Do you think that the different Online writing sites that we use help us in any way on Mylot? For e.g- If we have written or commented on a topic related to International politics, does that help us to respond to a discussion on Mylot better?

We have the opportunity to learn from every conversation we take part in regardless of where we take part in it. As we learn, we are better able to take part in a positive way on the different topics.

I think that it depends on what we are discussing. Not always past discussions (or posts) are still useful and updated.

I actually see it as the other way around. It is easy to open a discussion on MyLot for the purpose of gathering ideas and it is those discussions that can contribute to an article you intend to write on another site.

I think reading more on the subject would help better than writing about it would. Then again, it really depends on what kind of discussions you read and comment on. Most people would read and leave comments on topics that they are interested in, not necessarily the ones that they're knowledgeable about.
