Christmas on my mind

Good morning all my wonderful friends. Have a blessed Thursday.. Hey… can you see me through all this fog? We were out last night, and even the fog and mist made me feel the spirit of Christmas. I so love this time. I find myself thinking so much of the first Christmas… thinking of Christ being born of the virgin and the dangers He faced, even at that time.. and the life He lived, and How he was crucified.. all for Me… yes, for Me. If I had been the only sinner on this earth, He would have done it for ME. Thank you Jesus. The misty, foggy weather just looked kind of wintery, Christmasy. I heard a song at the Festival of Trees the other, day, and I am looking for the track for this song… if anyone should know who carries it, please let me know. Here it is.. The title is “We may be Home for Christmas This Year”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nSCt03xmRU Jamie put it on You Tube. I did ask them if they had the track, and they didn’t. But I didn’t think to ask them where they found the track. Yes, we may be Home (Heaven) for Christmas this year.. we never know from one day to the other. I miss my mom, my son, and all my loved ones that have already gone home. I know a lot of us have so many loved ones over there, sitting around the throne of God. As I was sitting here early, early this morning and thinking about different things, you know we all have had times that are just tough to get through, but when we do, it is always good if we believe what God has promised us. Your hardest times often lead to the greatest moments of your life. Keep the faith, stay strong. It will all be worth it in the end. Few things in the world are more powerful than a positive push. A smile. A word of optimism and hope. A “you can do it” when things are tough. Share this with a friend in need. Have a great day todayShare your love and those beautiful smiles, and the warm hugs this morning. I love you, God loves you.

I have never heard the song before. The holidays can be very disappointing for people who want to believe in the goodwill and festivities but our own human efforts to be better and to find peace will always disappoint us. We need to look to the Prince of Peace to find that spirit of rest and hope and joy.
