Someone might buy my lot

Let me explain...this is a play on words so to speak. No one is going to buy myLot but they might buy my lot. We have property for sale and land is very hard to sell in our area. Many people want it but they all went it for 'free'. Two weeks ago someone viewed the property and supposedly liked it so much we were at the top on his list. I just checked with our broker to find out what's going on with it. He said no one pulls the trigger fast when it comes to buying land. We know that! Then he said he had a call from an agent yesterday who is showing the property today. We haven't had much action since it's a large property and it takes a certain buyer. It's all set up for horses or cows...all fenced and cross fenced, with water running out to the pasture, a barn with water and electric. Maybe someone will make an offer and that would be a wonderful Christmas gift! Photo belongs to me

Nice title! It always helps jolly things up a bit if you get two offers because then the agent can play them off against each other. Maybe you should erect a small drilling rig in the middle of the plot and put it about that there's a good chance that you might find oil.

That would be an awesome gift for sure! The lot seems pretty big and the place looks nice, no wonder you're at the top of their list. Don't forget to give us an update on that!

It's beautiful. Makes me want to go plant a garden in it. I don't know where you are, but I'll bet you have wonderful dirt there. I'm jealous.

It is in TN, and since that land is used for hay its well fertilized by the farmer who bails it for us.

@marlina We did buy it to build on, but it took so long to sell the home we were living in that we lost interest in building, so bought the home we're in now.

We don't live there, there is no house - just a barn.

It looks beautiful and it seems like it is out in the middle of no where. I guess a person would want to live way out away from others to live on this land. I love the look and it is beautiful. Hope you can sell this off. Good luck it is a nice piece of land for sure.

Thank you - it is in the country but it's not isolated. It's just 6 miles from town with shopping/hospital, etc. Where we live is more isolated than that property.
