Thoughts on Conspiracy Theories?

Hello! I'm new to the community and I would like to get to know everyone! With all the social engineering taking place today, I was hoping to find someone who isn't brainwashed out there.

Wasn't it Plato, or one of those older brainy birds, who said none of us see reality, only the shadows on the cave wall? In that sense, we're all brainwashed. Everything we know is wrong. But what kind of brainwashing are you referring to?

I'm not sure I'm not brainwashed, I mean we all know there are Aliens from other planets plotting to take over Earth and naturally we shouldn't eat the common foods on the selves as they may have lots of chemicals in them that could be toxic but other than that I don't believe a thing I read in the news
