Emotionally Unstable

We've all been \had a hard life along the way; I was literally homeless at one point, I never had very many friends and no reliable family I could count or depend on. It wasn't till my oldest was diagnosed with Aspergers (a form of autism) is when I mentally broke. I'm literally home 24\7 and haven't been on a vacation in over 7 years. I just barely had a date night with my husband; mostly because I don't trust anyone to watch my kids, and my husband's mom is still too nervous to watch our little one who's Downs. I found myself on FB and realized of all the 167 something "friends" that I had, I had no actual friends in real life that I could talk to, let alone hang out with. Found myself lonely and depressed, making friends has never been easy for me, but being surrounded by cartoons has made me miss adult interaction and conversation.

It wasn't my sons autism that made my ,now x husband, lose his mind. It was the second time I had to give our son CPR because of his deformed respiratory system. Who knows where my x is now. One day I decided I was not insane, like my x-husband. I realized learning to cope with hell makes me stronger in the end, for I will never give up. As for interaction and friends? Well, that is what MyLot is for :)

I'm sorry that you don't have real friends to interact with. MyLot is great adult interaction though! My son has Aspergers as well and it can be really hard at times.

That is sad that you have had a hard life. Enjoy the fun times with your kids when you can.

Well, I'm here. I don't have your kids to deal with but I do have my Mom staying with us this winter- 94 years old and at times way too interesting. I am curious on where you live?

Try singing and pretend to be happy. Pretending goes a long way. At some point you won't be pretending anymore.. Your kids may seem more light hearted as well. *be blessed*
