That looks delicious! We have a lot of Indian restaurants here, if I go I'll see if they have that on the menu.

@cahaya - I am afraid if you could get the exact gravy dish of cottage cheese and peas in any Indian restaurant and that too with 'Puris' (fried homemade wheat bread), but you could still try and let us know the results.

@dpk262006 I agree with dpk262006. I am afraid, you going to get the same gravy dish along with "Puris" in any Indian restaurant abroad. If you find, let us know.

@hema7213 @dpk262006 @rocky1980 Yeah I doubt the ingredients would be as authentic as the ones in India. I do know a lot of them import the cooks and spices from there though. Well I guess I just have to try them out first.

@hema7213 sometimes I try to cook as well but generally I don't enjoy food cooked by me. I am the worst cook in the world.

What makes you always tempt us with such mouth watering and yummy dishes.. It is always delightful to enjoy freshly prepared hot fried puries with a dish of cottage cheese and peas. Cottage cheese and peas complement each other.
You indeed are a good cook. Let us know about your kitchen, so we could come over there to taste your sumptuous and yummy dishes.

@hema7213 , you really made me laugh, who on earth is not food lover. We all have favourite choices in food. By the way I respond to each comment, this is what I have learned here so far that is interact with others as much as possible. you should also interact with others more too not just with but with other mylot members. that's just a advise. nothing personal.

I really enjoy puri with chana masala, which is how I first learned of it. I've eaten matar paneer, too, but my favorite is murgh makhani or tikka masala. I just love the gravy over the rice with fresh naan. I would love to have the puri recipe if you have it.

@hema7213 No, I am not Indian, but I love many of the foods. We have quite a few restaurants in our area where I found different things I like. I can't eat too much spicy foods, but I do like a little bit of spice. I'm not a fan of raita or dal, but I love onion pakora. I like kheer, too. I've enjoyed paneer masala, too, when I wasn't in the mood for chicken. There are so many ways to alter the flavors. It's amazing anyone can remember them all.

@hema7213 Honestly speaking my mouth is watering at the moment , I miss such poori with aloo or matter paneer as I am residing in South India from the last 6 years. Though I find some eateries serving the same here as well but the taste is not as same as in my hometown.

ohh that is also nice
have a look on the recipe if you really want to know how it can be made:
This Indian paneer butter masala recipe is actually a taste of Northern India. This recipe is actually a famous party menu dish and it can be eaten with naan or vegetable pulav which are also served as food item in those parties. You can easily find this r
