I am just trying to find out if anyone else has suffered since having the flu jab. Ever since my flu jab I have had an on off cold. Sometimes really bunged up and sneezing other times fine. Now is this just a coincidence or maybe I just keep getting little colds. Has the flu jab affected you ?

It is most likely that it is a coincidence. The flu jab will affect a few people by giving them some flu-like symptoms (aching, headaches and raised temperature). Treatment is usually to take paracetamol/tylenol and to keep warm. The symptoms will disappear in a day or so.
The symptoms of a head cold are different and are not likely to be caused by the flu jab.

@suzzy3 Colds are about all the time, of course. I can't help feeling that the flu jab does put a small strain on the immune system so that, although the common cold is a different virus entirely, the body's defences may be a little low for a few days after the flu jab and so one may be more likely to catch a cold. Plenty of vitamin C, warm drinks, fresh air and, maybe, a few doses of paracetamol/tylenol are in order. I usually treat a cold with a hot drink of lemon, sugar and whisky before bed.

I have never had flu, my husband thinks he has, but to him a heavy cold/cough is influenza!
