Do You Shop Online Or Local?

think it all boils down to personal preference. If I need something urgently, the local convenience store is the answer. Also, quality is guaranteed by local stores. But I do really hate local stores. The insecurity of being robbed, the constant babbling of the salesman forcing me to buy something I have no interest in, and the fact that I have to travel a mile to get the goods turns me off. On the other hand, Online shopping is highly convenient. I can order a good sitting in my bedroom, check its reviews, get it delivered in a few days and return it withing 30 days if it has defects. Moreover, with offers such as 50% rebate, I know I am saving much more money than ever! I never had a bad experience with Online shopping and as far as security is concerned, I only use popular sites like Amazon and Flipkart. So, personally, I prefer Online shopping over local convenience stores. What about you??

Many of the online marketing websites in my country do not ask for shipping charges... even $5 groceries ship without any extra cost here... Along with extra discounts and freebies and CONVENIENCE, I think online shopping wins hands down... try once.. :D

I hate when the salesman try to push you to buy stuff it drives me nuts because when they work for commision they are more concerned with a sale than they are really trying to fill your needs. I do understand why but it still irks me. I like shopping in person you get to see item touch inspect etc. The problem is getting to the places so most of the time we shop online and orders over $50 usually have free shipping.

I dunno which e-commerce site you use.. but the site I use ships for free if the order is above $5, which is really easy.. Salesman get trolled by me, I end up promoting my affiliate products to them and they never visit again... :P Moreover, online shopping sites comes with a 30 day return guarantee.. so I dont think there is much difference between local and online shopping.. Anyways, thanks for sharig your views.. :)

I do shop locally sometimes for food, but most of the oter things arrive via ecommerce... And nowadays, I've started ordering groceries and food too via Internet! All hail the king of convenience!!

Well I shop both ways when I have the cash but I'd say I prefer local. I've had problems with online shopping before. Sometimes what you see is not what you get specially when buying clothes. Some may turn out too big or too small even though you picked your size and got your measurements correct. Some may have bad material. I like to see, touch, and fit the actual things I'm buying. Plus no waiting time.

If I need something right now than I go to the store but if I can wait for whatever it is I definitely prefer online. I like not having to leave the house, deal with people or wait on forever long lines.

Thanks for the comment. I also do really hate the unending long lines of convenience- or better, unconvenience stores.

I love online shopping. I'm not a fan of mall shopping but will do so if I feel the need. I like to shop for items that I rather not purchase online like undergarments but other than that. Online shopping would be at the top.
