I went to the doctor yesterday dec. 4 to have checked my painful, tingling feeling rashes on my legs & in my arms. Big clump rashes that are inflamed are all over my legs that result to uncomfortable feeling like dizzyness & weakness. Dec. 2 afternoon when The rashes first came out . It gets first on my left leg & small portion of rashes on the right leg. The next day additional rashes on my right leg breaks out! That made me worry because I am not familiar with it. All I thought is just an insect bites that bit me & my body reacted to it that causes allergic reaction but it's all not true,, sometimes it's really better to always go to doctors to let them check & assess you what to do. Dec. 3 I still went to school to attend my afternoon class . I missed out my morning class due to I feel so weak that morning of dec.3. The next day I went to the family medicine. As I was in the nurse station & I show them my concern immediately the nurse took out mask & she said that I need to wear it. Huhuhuh I feel like I have virus in my body that might spread to everyone but it's fine with me wearing a mask .I actually almost doing that because I have Sinusitis. The doctor called my name & I get in to her room & showed her my rashes..she explained that it is viral & Prescribed me medication & so on. After the conversation I ask my doctor a medical certificate for school purposes.. After paying in the cashier I lastly get the medical certificate that I requested. When I was buying the prescribed medicines at the pharmacy I got the chance to read the Med.Certificate. It says there that I am diagnose with herpes Zoster & advices to take a 2 day isolation rest. & refer to dermatologist. The time I read the herpes word I was shocked because the first that came on my mind is the sexually transmitted disease . I almost cry! Huhuhuh but before I went hysterical I googled out that diagnoses & found out that whoooh!!! Thanks God it's not STD or HIV or anything.... Herpes is just a family name. Herpes zoster is also known as shingles that is associated with the chickenpox. The infection that causes shingles is the virus varicella-zoster... The virus that remained in our body when we already had chickenpox before. Though the chickenpox is already treated virus still remains in our nerve that awakens when your body's immune system weakens. Stress is one of the great contributer that weakens Immune system. It's contagious when the blisters breaksout.
