Something Weird About The California Shooting

CNN has been talking non stop about the recent shooting that took place this week in California.
Two things really stand out to me and I am not sure why they even do. Have any of you noticed when they show the video of the bullet riddled black SUV that there is a white picket fence all along the grass-line?
It is unsettling to me because even as a child I remember people talking about the dream of having a house with a white picket fence.
The other unsettling thing to me is the married couple who are the shooters in this tragic event. Why do they have to look like Mary and Joseph? (from the Christmas story)
Has anyone else noticed this?
I don't think there is any way of understanding why things like this happen. It's heartbreaking and seriously haunting to me.

Do we have pictures of Mary and Joseph. I suppose we want to have some kind of image in our minds as to what a Mary might look like from what they mean or represent to us. That image to me looks nothing like that thing in the picture.

All these attacks and tragedies of late do weigh on the mind. The pictures are surreal and it comes in such a contrast to how we are supposed to be feeling right now.

There is only one way to success, wealth and achievement and that is through a lot of hard work.

Since we have no idea at all what Mary and Joseph even looked like, and there is much argument over how old Joseph actually was, some scholars think he was much older than Mary and that she may have been his second wife, I can't say as I see the resemblance. Malik was Pakistani, a whole different ethinicity than Mary, who as a semitic Jew. The same for Farook, though born in the US, he was of Pakistani ancestory. Joseph was from Palestine.

I think they said they the man argued with someone from his work about his religion, so maybe they felt apart from society and maybe bullied about something they believe in
