Sometimes I really think that some people are wasting their education.
Some highly educated persons are so stupid.
They earn high income, and yet they do not buy insurance policies.
When you tell them that they have to buy insurance policies, they will say that their companies provide the insurance coverage for them.
This is simply a very stupid comment.
If they are working for the company as a permanent employee, they definitely enjoy the insurance coverage.
They never think that one day they will lose their jobs and that they will retire.
If they do not buy when they are making good money, they will not buy insurance when they are jobless.

I don't like that society has become so attached to credit and insurance like it's a necessity of life. If people are smart enough they don't need either. Of course there are legal barriers to that and some insurances are required by law, but the general principle is paying someone else your money and in case of an accident or health issue, you generally aren't getting back what you put in, unless it's catastrophic. If you do get into either and they do pay, you are charged more because they are recovering their losses. It's an evil system. Fortunately I'm not in the credit system. I'm one of those smart enough to get by without needing it.

That is the way that society has evolved, and since insurance is a must for all of us, we just have to learn indepth about it, and make full use of it.
If you do not need credit and insurance, that means either you are very rich or you do not have anything under your name.
if you have a car, you must have car insurance.
if you have a house, you must have mortgage and home insurance.

@scheng1 Buy things when you can afford them. That's the simple answer to everything. People get destroyed by credit because they can't do that. People that go without credit can. Case in point, after running my car into the ground that I drove for 10 years and put little cost in to maintain, I was able to buy a newer car yesterday without credit. Am I super rich or was I smart and saved money for years to afford a car that would replace the one that was dying? Did I just buy it on a whim or was there years of planning involved and looking at costs? The latter for all of those, would be the correct choice.
Society de-evolved with credit. It can revert to a better way. Don't assume all of us are patsies to this backwards system of waste.

I always do not relate highly educated people as smart or wise. Of course, some are, but some aren't. I can understand when someone does not earn much and can't afford to buy insurance. But, there are many who are earning quite a lot and still do not buy insurance as well. They have different thoughts, and I know some of them think they can afford to pay for everything if anything happens to them.

The ones who do not earn a lot are the ones who will buy insurance.
They always worry if something happens to them, then their family will suffer.
I think the highly educated ones are too arrogant, and that is why they turn down all their friends who are insurance agents.

@scheng1 I didn't know actually those who do not earn much but buy insurance. I have always heard from some of my friends, they don't earn much so they can't afford to buy insurance. They can afford to buy house and cars and afford luxurious spending, but I think they just don't think they have the need to buy insurance.

I don't see any stupidity in that. It's totally that individuals wish for any kind of insurance.
