I'm Making a Man Quilt

I have not had much time to be on myLot today, but I have not been idle.
I have started a new quilt. I am making it from scraps that I have on hand. Most of the fabric is checks or plaids, so it will be a bit unusual. I think the colors are pretty masculine, and I'm planning on making it for my husband.
I am using a basic 9-patch pattern. It will be interesting to see how it comes out with these fabric combinations. I'll keep you posted.

It makes me think of Scotland. It may be "masculine" but I wouldn't mind having one of those myself.

@norcal quilting is something I always wanted to learn but never did. Even if it isn't a surprise I'm sure he'll be pleased with it

You go girl, I wish I had the patients to make quilts. Actually I wish I had a sewing machine I could operate. Your quilt looks good. Will you be able to finish it by Christmas?
