I have read the guidelines of mylot but i am quite confuse that in this can we not post copyright material. I have worked in so many websites but in those websites we had to check copyright material before posted. And can we not post the downloaded image from google. Can anyone tell me about the rules of mylot in another social networking site.

Everything you post should be your own original material. If you'd like to share something that you don't own the copyright to, you can provide a link to it. You also need to make sure that the things you post here are not already posted on another website, because that's discouraged.

if you know you wrote your own material without copying it for another source then you can take it as read that it is not copyright material - it is automatically copyrighted to you the instant it goes live so if anyone else copies your work pretending it is theirs you have proof you own it.

I am still learning myself what we can post or NOT. You can "quote" what someone has written as long as you give credit to the person who wrote it. I don't even know how to check if something has a copyright in place. But, I did check with Admin and the answer I got was about quoting someone. We DEFINITELY can not write on here what someone else has already written. That is plagiarism. So, I am very careful now to put another person's words in "quotation marks" and give them FULL credit it, if I want to write what they said, for any of MY posts.
