I am invited today to the house at the Andes mountains that my best friends just have built. I haven´t been there since last year, when the first posts were up and I had to have a vivid imagination to know that that would be a house later on.
Now it is finished and we are going for the day. In my country it is a religious holiday.
I got out my camera and there were no batteries. I know I have a charger, but I couldn´t find it. I also know that I have more batteries but they are somewhere in my 4 bedroom house
I know that Dixie will take pictures but they are too heavy to upload them to mylot.
I guess I´ll just have to tell you about it when I´m back.

@hereandthere I think that we should start a petition and campaign for more photographs.

I´ll see if Dixie can reduce them. This sounds as head shrinkers.
Meanwhile, I can upload what I see from my house.

When you find the batteries and charger, always keep them with the camera, so you have them when you need them. I have 3 cameras and keep back-up batteries and respective chargers in each camera's case. Ready to go at a moment's notice.
I could be wrong (couldn't find anything in the guidelines about max size on images), but doesn't myLot automatically resize images for viewing?

I am planning to put an order to the batteries and the charger. They used to be in one place but I moved them when I changed some things at home to make room for my mother´s ceramic doves.

I suggest using a program called fastzone photo resizer . It will help reduce the size of the photo without losing quality.
I also know there are a few great solar power unit's that help with battery replacement.
You may have to look around.

I have a battery charger, but I will have to buy new batteries. They don´t last forever and they are very old.
I´ll check on the photo resizer. Thanks.

Oh... It really spoils the mood. Do you know that I will have three batteries when I go out with my camera? So if one battery runs out, at least I have two backups. As it means nothing if I bring the camera but can't take photos since no power.

I used to have that. But I have to buy new batteries. Even rechargable batteries don´t last forever.
