Who Do You Think You Are?

Everyone encounters overwhelming problems. From the rich to the poor. I don't really think that anyone lives a carefree life no matter how great they say life is. I dislike judgmental people. People who feed off of the less fortunate. It's not fair. The phrase ( I couldn't even imagine what it would be like to be in the situation) really grinds my gears. Why not? I think the problem with some of todays people is they don't put themselves in other peoples shoes and really imagine what it would be like in the unfortunate situation. If it were you wouldn't you want someone to understand. Now don't get me wrong there are some people who don't want to be helped they want to be left at a standstill. But do they deserve cruelty?
No one really knows what situation came about that people are left homeless, without food or clothes. But i bet if it were you, you would wish others understood instead of judged you just because you have less.
* I saw a lady being so cruel to a the less fortunate this morning.
I just stood there and watched her curse and even kick this lady. She screamed at the lady and told her your not getting my money for drugs.
After the lady left, I gave this homeless lady two breakfast sandwiches and gave her a dollar for something to drink.
She said God will bless you for blessing others i haven't eaten in 3 days.
I got in my car, and watched the lady go into the store and she came out with a orange juice. She didn't take my dollar and spend it on a cheap beer or a fix.. Just orange juice.

@Marcyaz I do have to agree with you on this. One time I was trying to find an office building. I saw this older women trip on the sidewalk and fall. I could see she was hurt. I didn't care much about my work I put her in my van and took her to get cleaned up. It is nice when you see a person who needs help to help them out.

There is nothing wrong in help needy persons. However, in today's world sometimes it gets difficult to guess whether the person in front of us genuinely need help or is s/he faking?

Thats awful what the other lady did and what she assumed. My husband and I with our children were recently homeless. We encountered some people who assumed we did something to be in the position we were in but my husband broke his ankle and could not work and I am pregnant so no one would hire me either.
The truth is most people are ONE paycheck away from being on the streets like we were! Thank God some people did help us, and we were so grateful for them.

What you witnessed is almost unbelievable! Thanks for sharing this story because it sure is touching. You are so right. Really what would it be like if we were in another situation.
“A lot of people are just victim of circumstance” – says this homeless guy in a 4:44 minute video that Josh produced last December
