A lot of people are looking for a way to make extra money. While there are no get rich quick schemes that actually work, there are opportunities out there. What have you found that works? I have found small things online but I know there are better things out there.

@awesomeuser You will get paid once your account gets to $10.00. That's how I understand it. I'm new also.

I have heard of companies that let their employees work from home. So those are jobs that pay a salary. Things like record keeping, tax preparers. Aside from my job as a substitute teacher, I do mystery shopping. Only filing the report part of it is working from home; the rest of the job is visiting the businesses. I like the variety and the flexibility.

@countryrose I haven't done merchandising so far. Mystery shopping; I can schedule a lot when I'm not working or just one after work. So that flexibility works for me.

@paigea That's the good thing about mystery shopping.

I've done the mystery shopping before and I did enjoy it. I've also done merchandising but that is hard if you work full time. Because of the hours they want you to work conflict.

Diligence may be the key to find out what fits the best.

@countryrose very important. Too many times we find something only it doesn't appeal. looses it over time or fits us well. I may not pursue anymore online social "writing" opportunities?

@Bluedoll I know you have to do a bunch of writing to make any money. It sounds easy enough. I think once you have realistic expectations, you won't be surprised. I look at my lots as a fun way to communicate with others.

At the end of the day, let there be no excuses, no explanations, no regrets.
