No Christmas Tree?!

I can't believe I'm sitting in my living room right now with no Christmas Tree. I'm not sure what's going on with me this year but I don't feel as happy with this upcoming Christmas as I usually am. I usually have a bunch of decorations by now, and especially a Christmas Tree! I usually buy a real one, even though I'm sure i'd save a ton more money with with a fake one, I just always loved the real ones more. (The smell.)
Since my Grandma passed last month, I'm not really as energetic with the Holiday this year!
I'm debating if I should still get one or not. I don't know. It feels weird without having one. Maybe I will. Just slow this year.
I'm sure most of you have your Christmas Tree up by now!

it's understandable. see how you feel next week, or the week after. maybe just a small one on christmas eve for your grandma.

I don't know but i feel the same way too, I just put in mind that behind the lights, glamour and glitter was a child born in a manger who would later become a way of salvation for all of us who believe, i think of all my blessings most especially my great wife and the kids then everything just brightens up and becomes "Christmasy" again. Yes i know how it feels when there is a loss but somehow we need to go over it, so cheer up and don't let things get you down. Best wishes and good luck

We have decided to skip the Christmas tree this year. I just don't seem to have the energy to deal with all that.

I would suggest you do not bend backwards to have that tree. I know what is stopping you and that is you are missing your grandma. Do what your grandma would have felt happy if she was around. Just a thought.
