I have heard many a person claim they are "Christian". I define being Christian as one who believes in and takes on Christ like attributes. I would like to know. Do you claim to be a "Practicing Christian" and do things that are contrary to this thought, such as lying to whomever, stealing in any facet, or just generally do things that are "unchristlike"

No I'm not. I just practice being a good person and I don't judge those who are trying to be Christ like. It can take a life time to develop those attributes for some people. I applaud their efforts even when they fail.

Thank you Nameless. Being a good person and not judging others is a big part of being Christlike. Taking the lifetime to develop those qualities is what it's all about.

@onlinetomakemoney Absolutely. We tend to expect Christians to all be on the same page and at the same level which is totally unrealistic. They are people first.

I myself consider Christian a term that applies itself well to a group of people that followed Jesus Christ when he walked on the earth. That was a very long time ago. Since then many people and organizations have accepted that name to compare to their particular beliefs.

I am trying - with God's help - nobody is perfect, but we can all try - and we know God can forgive us when we keep trying our best.

Being a Christian is a work in process and I'm continually working on it. We can put on any label but do the facts match the label?

Kites rise highest against the wind, not with it.
