life is not easy

when i was 5 years old, my family always go to malls. shop here, shop there. spend here, spend there. i didn't realize what life really is until i get older. i am 16 years old right now living with my older sister in a small apartment. i am a BSBA student and also a working individual. life back then was easy. i can buy everything i want without thinking of the future. now i realize that life is not easy as we know it.earning money is so hard that you even spend more money on your needs than your wants. i realize that studying is important so that you can have a stable life in the future. but, as i have look into the majority students in our school, why is that they don't give much attention to their studies? are they dumb to realize that? they just enjoy having sex, drink beer, smoke weed etc. if i was only born in the mid 70's, i can see how deep people think in that era.
