i am a Filipino and i'm proud of it. but how can you be proud if the news about the Philippines is this: "Philippines, the most corrupt country in the world" - survey. why do politicians tend to do bad things rather than good things. why are they being tempted to do such things? are they ignorant of the law? absolutely NOT because they run our country. how can the richest in natural resources country in the world became the most corrupt?! damn i hate the fact that if this actions wont be stopped, our country will go down in the slump in the next 20 years. i am open for suggestions on how will i advice the government of the Philippines to kill corruption practices in our country.

I can understand your situation quite well.I belong to your neighbouring country India. As the flipinos and indians are brothers ,they are also brothers in corruption.India also suffers from corruption. The best way to combat corruption is to try to stop it at the ground level and by trying to raise avareness about it.Vote for the leader whose party is corruption free and if that party does not exist , it should be formed and made to come into power.

Many politicians and bureaucrats like to line their own pockets. Good journalists can help expose abuse and so Press freedom is important
