its very difficult to avoid when that type of people may be dad,mum or relative..

@awesomeuser Don't worry . Everyone including your parents will understand when u succeed in it :) All will bow, accept and agree when we succeed:) Well dad and mom are ok, but some of my relatives irk me too at times:) Mostly comparison is the main reason

When you can't avoid, perhaps you just have to learn not to let them affect you.
I have tried years to change how my mom thinks, I hope she can be more positive, but it seems like it's really difficult to change some people, unless they are willing to change. So, I have learned to just listen (if I can't avoid) and smile, try not to say or explain much. If I have a chance to change topic, then I will just change the topic to something more interesting.

I think theses days when we have had too much of negative people we have to opt out of being around that type of situation.

What do u mean by "work getting spoiled"? I'm not sure if they're being pessimist, or they just have a point.
