I was reading about what everyone's favorite Christmas movie and character was. And was thinking of Santa and Rudolph and the favs of when I was young. But come to find out it was the Grinch from "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". That was in the year 2000 that it came out. It grossed an impressive 260 Million. So what was the second and third favorite Christmas movies? You might think of Home Alone, Miracle on 34th Street or even Christmas Vacation. Nope. Second was actually Polar Express and the 3rd one was Elf. Did you know that it actually took Jim Cary six hours of make up every day of filming to become the Grinch? Horrible torture!
Did you like the Grinch? Is it a favorite? I love it!

@celticeagle Oh yes, now I remember the routine. After pestering about the time for the past hour they suddenly say "I will just have a bath first" and leave us standing there for another hour.

I prefer the CHristmas movies of my youth. So home alone, rudolf the red nosed reindeer, frosty the snowman, those types of movie.
*On a side ntoe, mylot is taking forever for me right now, how is it for you?

no it was not really one I liked.... I do like some of the others you mentioned, my favourite is home alone and christmas vacation and scrooged.... but I love to watch allsorts of christmas movies...

I liked Grinch too. But my favorites are the Peanuts Christmas special and Home Alone.
