myLot makes my laptop run slow

I usually work on a desktop computer with a fair amount of speed and 8 GB of memory. myLot runs great in that environment.
But I also have an old laptop I keep in my bedroom, and that's what I'm using right now. And on this machine, with only 2 GB of memory and a pretty slow CPU, myLot seems to be pushing it to its limits. Even just typing is sluggish.
This doesn't happen on other websites. I think it probably has to do with all the ads on the myLot page, some of which are running videos.
My poor old laptop wasn't made for all this activity!

Working with a slow machine can be very frustrating.

May be other applications or browsers eating up lot of your RAM and when you open myLot it appears so. I agree myLot is not well optimized, but I could run it well in a 2GB memory system.
