Things I wonder about women

So @JaboUK laid down a challenge to me after I responded to her "10 thinks I wonder about men" post. The request was for me to list some more things that I wonder about women.
I've stepped into this territory before and it's dangerous, and I don't have Tony to back me up (I can always whatsapp him for support!)
So here goes:
If something is not fine, why do you say 'that's fine" ?
Why do you watch films with the intent that it will make you cry. Huh!? That makes no sense!
Why do you see shopping as a pass time rather than a necessity?
Why do you ask us "Does my bum look big in this?" We like big butts!
In fact, why do you ask our opinion at all, you already know what you want to hear and if we deviate even a fraction, you have a strop and give us the silent treatment...
...which we actually like as we get some peace!
oh my...

The answers are - Duty and Insecurity . It is a woman's duty to make sure that everyone is happy, especially her man. Women will come along and gape and call me names for saying this, but it's true, even if on a subconscious, DNA level. Otherwise there would be no reason that women are busy right now decorating their houses and baking Christmas cookies like mad. Certainly, they can't eat all those cookies so they are part of the "make happy" thing. The questions are part of insecurity, they are intended to determine how happy she is making everyone, especially her man. Answers that don't speak of ultimate bliss make her feel insecure. She thinks her butt is too big, dinner wasn't tasty, the house doesn't look nice and she worries about not being the absolute best. But be very happy she is like this. Because if she were not, she might have time to focus on your faults instead.

@ison_1 You are setting yourself up for some very nasty repercussions, you mean. Here are some stock phrases "You are always beautiful to me" "I like what you cook, I would rather eat home than anywhere" And a very important phrase "I'm sorry", even if you didn't do anything wrong. Just assume it's your fault and things will go more smoothly.

1. Guys do not bother to ask if it is fine. So I always tell my husband what is on my mind.
2. I hate drama and love stories film.
3. Guilty. Haha!
4. I do not asked if my behind is big because husband always telling me it is big. Haha.
5. Actually we do not ask your opinion, we are just checking what you is you say on some situations. Haha.

Thanks for taking the trouble to do this, and though I'm late here is my response.
1. We say 'it's fine' because we are stoical, rather than the 'please pity me' attitude we get from you men
2. I never watch films.
3. I don't see shopping as a pastime, though I will concede that most women do
4. That's great - all us big-butted women are grateful to you
5. The silent treatment is good - better than ranting.

"That's fine" is just so much simpler than trying to explain. AGAIN!
Shopping is not a past time. Luckily they pay me to mystery shop or we might never have any groceries around here; or gas in the car.
You got me on the crying at movies. It just feels so good to cry it out.
I'd never ask that bum question.
Nice to see you here.

In response to the films question, we are an emotional gender, films like that touch our heart. We like that.

@ison_1 I don't think it's being upset at all. It is touching to us.

women says "that's fine" even it's not to avoid arguments, we go shopping when we feel bored, just window shopping sometimes, lol, watch TV soaps or films that makes us cry because we can relate on the stories, conscious about our bums because of insecurities , in short, it's the essence of being a woman

Hey John :)
We ask your opinion so you can deviate from what we want to hear, so we can give you the silent treatment so you can be happy.
Maybe we know you like big butts. So when a woman asks you if "my bum looks big in this" take the opportunity to stare and enjoy.
Shopping as a pass time? I wish! But maybe it's to get away from having to say "that's fine" all the time. Objects in stores don't talk.
Maybe women cry in sad or sweet or romantic movies because ... yeah, had to restart this one, and still not sure what to say ... something like, maybe because these women are sad.
