its good subject , i am from India and in our culture we touch feet our elder and take blessing while any good work or function like marriage or birthday or festival,its show that we are respecting our parents and relatives.

Okay, I will tell you about my culture when a baby was born. The first day of the baby born, we make little celebration for thankful to God on the baby birth which is called as "brokohan". After the baby reach 7 days old, we make a big celebration where we slaughtering goats for giving a good name for the baby which is called as "aqiqah". When the baby reaches 7 months we make a pretty big celebration to celebrate the first time for the baby can crawl which is called as "mudun lemah". After that we make birthday celebration every year.
