Another week has gone by and I havent had a whole lot of time to be on this site . Christmas always seems to be busy but this year it seems extra busy.
Next week I plan to do my Christmas baking. I usually make about 5 different varieties of cookies or sweets. I will miss the kids not being here to cut out and decorate the sugar cookies. Those are a must have! Last year I made peanut butterballs dipped in chocolate. We call those chestnuts.
What kind of baking do you do for the holidays? Do you have a favorite desert?

If it isn't ready made, I don't bake it. I can't bake to save my life, but ask me to throw together a meal that looks and tastes like it came from a nice restaurant? I'm your girl.

I have to avoid sugars and carbs. My daughter in law makes awesome cookies. I will be baking one pumpkin/spice dump cake for company here. I am going to have grand kids here, but their mom tries to not over sugar them.

I have made 5 varieties of cookies so far, one more to go. My sons used to help with the cutting and decorating of the sugar cookies too. Now they are grown and just want to eat them lol. I guess it's just the way of it even if us mommies are heartbroken.
