Yes its Tech this and Tech that. I say: slow down!!! Slow way way down.
Take a few moments and okay, use your computer if you must, look up and find Tasha Tudor and go for the gold: immerse your eyes in Ernest H. Shepard's world. These two knew what it was to capture a world. They grabbed hold of beauty and did not let go- who cares that these two are long gone from this world and will be found in children's books? They are the genuine article. And Howard Pyle and his pirates. Life. Infusions of life.

I have to get ready for work shortly, therefore I can't search these name out just yet. If i could this discussion might make more sense. As is, I'm not sure how the first line pertains to the rest?

@marshamusselman This tech world is just too fast and gimmicky. Its time to slow down and savor the old masters and their work.

I am a big fan of Maxfield Parrish illustrations and I love fashion illustrations from the 1800's , I have quite a collection.

@sallypup I have a Maxfield Parrish Print over my bed , I bought it at an antique auction years ago. I love Godey and Peterson fashion prints, some are hand painted. I even bough a French one at an antique store in Brighton, England one year.

Yes, @bellestarr. Yes! I was gifted a Parrish book. Oh my it is a sweet thing. A long time ago I bought a small Parrish print at an antique mall. It is much loved. Your fashion illustrations sound fascinating and beautiful.
