Kinda Hating Myself

I had made such incredible progress with my weight loss and I lost it all. I am having the hardest time trying to get back to working out and walking everyday and eating better. I need someone for support. I really wish i had someone I could meet up with to do this with. I am lacking the support so I am hesitant about getting back to it and I think I am just afraid of failing. I want to get over this and get back to slimming down like i was.

Do you have a smart phone? They have apps for tracking weightloss that you can do and within these apps you can share progress with a friend, etc. My friends and I all live a fair distance apart and can't always meet up for exercise, but the app helps keep on track.

@IvySaysHi Take baby steps. If I were you I would do some research on slimming recipes, on new work out techniques, on others success stories. I don't work out as often as I should either but I also work as as stock clerk so I get a workout in that way. I take omega 3 which can support weight loss. I noticed also that when I was drinking more green tea (the kind you brew) it helped my weight loss. There are many resources you can use to help you get over this hurdle.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I really hope so because I was slimming down but then my college work was lagging and since I tried to get caught up right away between that and my son I just stopped everything

To succeed, your hunger for success has to be greater than your fear of failure. There are so many things from which you can draw motivation. The simple fact that losing weight is going to keep you fit all your life is enough to get back to your fitness regime. I wish you good luck & expect an optimistic update from you soon wherein you have resumed your exercising routine.

hi glad to see im not blocked some user who is u nk nown to me has blocked me from his discussions which I find odd as I have never had anyh dealings with this perso n/.anway you need to find afriend who would go for walks with you there are groups in some cities in the USA that go for walks in malls b efore they open. that would be a good one for yo u too if yo u could find such a group where you are.

I wish you all of luck. I know it is helpful to find someone to do it with, but sometimes we have to give ourselves the motivation. I did it both ways. I had help in the beginning and then in the end I did it in my own. And now I am continuing to do it on my own. Keep the faith, I know you can do it....

I hope you can get back to it. I joined a walking group that I found near me. I found it through meetup.com. We go for walks on trails all over town. Sometimes we go for a walk to get coffee. lol We park our cars about 30 minute walk away, go for the coffee and then have to walk back to the cars.
There are walks planned several times per week. So, there is always one or two I can fit into my week. It is sure helping me to have found this group.
