No one know what QQ is?

yestoday,in mylot,a india friend does not know what qq is,but i don know how to explain what qq is.so i wanna other people of different countries whether use qq
or know qq.just wanna know whether qq is popular with other countries.
right here,i tell you qq is a social software and it is very popular with teenagers
of china.i and my classmates, friends all use it.even my father and mother,but they
have not use it usually.especially my father,he usually use WeChat----chinese pinyin is "weixin",another social software,but it is usually used by 25-50 years old people.just like my dad.
besides,i wanna know other people of different countries use which type of social software.
that is all.please give me anwers.

Never heard of QQ. Only chat apps I have at the moment is Line , Kik, Facebook and of course there is one that comes with my phone but, I rather not use it too often. Kik is mostly popular among teens here in the US, but is accessed by people of all ages. Not sure about Line, but a few gaming communities that I'm with use it to contact other members of "clans" and such in case the enemy is attacking. Not that anybody ever actually calls when that happens, but I just love all the cute stickers.
Oh and I saw there is a QQ international, which apparently is used in "80 countries with a billion members".
