I haven't tried it yet, but I know a few people who tried it... Let me tell you what they told me... VISTA is just like Windows XP except that it drinks lots of RAM... To get it running smoothly you need atleast 1GB of RAM(+2GB recomended)... Other than that there is not much difference between the two except that the looks may be different... Few of those friends(on the technical side) of mine told me that VISTA has solved all the bugs Windows Xp had but there are new bugs in them... As they say, according to Microsoft Employee's dictionary: Upgrade: verb Meaning: Removing all previous bugs and adding in new ones. Copyright Microsoft Corporation "Our potential, Your problem"

I have used RC1, RC2, and the final release and can tell you that VISTA gets better and better. Even without a graphics card ultimate is just fine. Just make sure you have MORE than 512mb of ram if you plan on using any version better than home basic.
