Most of the ones I found were ridiculous and say more about the dirty mind of the person who programmed the bad word detector than about me. Most of the words are not rude in the UK.

The majority of us have encountered this at one time or another. The system will pick out a word even if it hidden as part of a larger and acceptable word, which can be quite confusing at first.

Yes I got the same error Friday. It was an innocent mistake on my part and not really a bad word.

Are you still trying to deny that you intended those naughty words?

I make so many typos and the only one I missed of course made an innocent word into a bad word. so I got the error message and had to edit it into the innocent word,

Occasionally it does happen and I change the word because some words have double meaning and without realising you might have used one in your post ..

I've never come across it personally, but someone wrote that they won't allow you to use the word for a female dog, even if you ARE talking about dogs.

I haven't yet, but I've heard of others that have. You could put the first letter and stars for the rest, unless it's a really, really bad word, then I wouldn't suggest that.

haha I have had to hold myself back from swearing. There have been some discussions or people that have made me angry but I try to hold back from what I really want to say because I know that error will come up. Or in my case, with all the swearing I want to do, I might blow up the system lol

Once this site gave me a huge smack for writing a bad word- I looked back and realized the site had taken two words and put them together and yep, bad word. Craziness.

No because I never use bad words anywhere - either here online or with the people I know at home or wherever I am.

I think hiding bad words as ordinary words is banned on mylot. Maybe the system thought you were doing that?
