My mornings seem to fly by

Like many, my mornings seem to just fly by. I usually drop off my girls at preschool for about 8, 8:15. I usually get back by 8:30, or a little after. My little guy still usually takes a nap in the morning. It's nice that I get time to myself, and have time to get somethings done. But before I know it, it's 11, 11:30 and it's time to go pick up my girls. I just don't see the time fly. It's crazy. But I do enjoy it. Although this week is their last week, before the holidays. They'll be off for two weeks. It'll be nice to have that family time.

Holidays were always a crazy time with kids in school. No, I don't miss it. Though I would like more family time.

It really is a crazy time. As much as it's hectic and crazy, it is kind of fun. I do hope you have more family time. Hopefully it'll work out for you in the new year.

Over here, many parents are working, so they put the children in preschool with childcare facility. They drop the children at 7 am and pick up at 7 pm. That is life here, and it is not really good for a family to separate 12 hours a day.

I know quite a few parents have to use daycare here, as they work. I chose to stay home, which is why I can do this. It must be hard to be apart from them all day.

@scheng1 at what age do children in singapore go to preschool? i guess they stay there after class until 7pm because there is no one at home.

I know, the time flies and, aging, it's even worse.

It seems so different as I've gotten older. I'm sure things will continue to change as I continue to age, including my perception of time.

@dodo19 I did not believe my parents and grandparents when they told me this, but it's so true.

Like Anna said, time really flies the older you get. It just seems like yesterday that my kids were born and here they now have their own families.

@simone10 looking back 21 seems to be the time when things started to go a lot faster for me as well. I didn't really realize it at the time, but I do now that i look back.

I can believe. If the last few years have been any indication, I can believe it. I'm sure it will just keep getting faster.

@dodo19 For me, once I hit 21 years old, the time seemed to shift and started going by a lot faster.

My whole day goes like that and before you know it is bedtime. Yesterday I was busy getting stuff done around the house, when I looked at the clock it was 23:30 and I had to be up at 6 :( x

It's rough when that happens. The few times I go to bed so late and have to get up early, it's not easy to do. But you have to do what you have to do.

I always find my days fly without me realizing about it. I always plan to do something, but it seems like I haven't done much and it's already evening, especially now that we have mylot here.

That is true. I'm really not sure where 2015 has gone. It just went by so fast. A little too fast. But such is life.

It is crazy how fast the time flies every day and it only gets worse as you get older.
