Brilliant suggestions needed

Christmas gifts can be hard to choose at the best of times. The day is rolling nearer, and we still haven't bought anything for an elderly uncle, who really is the man with everything. Everything, that is, except my lovely little auntie, who sadly passed away at the weekend. So now we have a funeral to attend the week of Christmas, and no idea what to give a recently bereaved man. Any ideas?

So sorry for your loss. I would suggest for someone who has all he needs and wants nothing. Some type of food item. We will always need food till the day we pass on.

@kizzyB Well there you go. Now you just have to decide what kind of food.

I'm sorry, and the only thing I can think of is some kind of photo gift.

It's a nice idea. I may look into some photos of when she was younger.

I don't think he'll have much use for Christmas for now, he'll need time to grieve and about the only thing anyone can do is to be there for him and spend time with him. He may need encouragement to do things his wife used to do, like cooking or cleaning or doing the laundry. Hummm, maybe that could be his present just don't tell him, he'll probably not really care.
