50 Shades Of Grey Winter Weather!

I am so sick of waking every morning lately, to those 50 shades of grey weather, that appears to be permanently stuck over the UK, at the moment, well at least it is here, over Suffolk.
Hard going on people who suffer from SADS, which I normally don't, but then we would normally, catch a glimpse of a blue sky, in between, to revitalise our flagging energies and spirit.
Rain?... yep, we are getting that everyday too, extremely unusual, in this, one of the driest areas in GB.
So to lift my flagging spirits, could someone elsewhere, do a little Sun dance, and direct it our way, just so we don't forget, what blue and yellow look like.

@Asylum Well we all know you are a selfish Santa's helper... and anyway when did your boss acquire Green gloves, my Santa always had red ones, even though his sleigh may have been environmentally friendly with Reindeer power, I don't remember him displaying any 'Green' signs ~

I know how it feels. I have been to GB several times and the only think I dislike about the country is the weather. Unfortunately it is the same here in Estonia, 365 days of grey skies above.

We have a nice sunny day today (December 24th 2015) and it is 13 degrees in Niagara Falls Canada. The last few weeks has felt more like a winter in my birth-town of London England than it does Canada, those 50 shades of grey weather with lots of rain. It isn't yet winter properly as we have had no snow to speak of.

I've read that some areas of the UK are getting snow as well as the rain and heavy winds. I wish I could send some of our sunshine your way and you send some of the gloom. I don't mind a good grey sky, especially as I am asleep during it anyway!

@ScribbledAdNauseum... We would just love to be infected with some of your sunshine, right now, especially those up North who have been flooded out of their homes...so I really shouldn't complain, at least we still have a roof over our heads to shelter us and dry floors to walk on... but constant grey skies are not exactly uplifting, but eminently shareable

@bookbar The "Rain dance" of my childhood comes to mind. I suppose it wouldn't work in this case to make the bad weather go away. Of course if I'm being honest the little song never did work anyway.

That reminds me of the Mrs Brown Boys Show, when she met the Mormons lol.
Mrs. Brown: It rained for 40 days and, 40 nights.
Mormons: That's right!
Mrs. Brown: And they call that a disaster?
Mormons: That's right!
Mrs. Brown: In Ireland, we call that the fecking summer.
Oh I have never laughed so hard in my life!
